IFB 26001Z Repair Services for Heavy Duty Vehicles and Equipment

The City of Dayton is seeking bids for repair services for heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. The services shall include spring repair and replacement, suspension and kingpin repairs, heavy alignments, and air brake system repairs. The city-owned vehicles and equipment covered under this contract include Medics, Engines, Ladders, Refuse Trucks, Dump Trucks, Combination Water Vehicles, and other equipment. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option for up to three one-year renewals at the City of Dayton's discretion. • The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the repairs. • The contractor shall have a minimum of three references that can be contacted for verification of their work. • The contractor shall provide a statement of ability to complete the requested repairs on all listed equipment. • The contractor shall indicate any exceptions of equipment that are not able to have the requested repairs completed. • The contractor shall provide a copy of their W-9 form with the bid. • The contractor shall complete and submit a Vendor Application form if not already registered with the City of Dayton.
