General Contractor Construction Term Agreement

INVITATION TO BIDThe Upstate Medical University invites you to submit a bid for consideration for a term contract for work to becompleted on a time and material basis. The intent of this bid is that a contract will be signed with selectedcontractors to engage and complete specific construction related projects each with a value not-to-exceed$100,000.00 in accordance with SUNY procedures. The total contract remuneration will not exceed$1,000,000.00 over the three-year term. Each separate project will be issued based on estimated time andmaterial and is called a “Release”. The contract will be issued for a period of three years. The Campusintends to award a contract to one bidder.Qualifications required by Contractors are outlined in the Instruction to Bidders and Attachment B.Contractors may bid on multiple trades, if qualified.One term contracts will be executed for the following trade:1. General ContractorThis contract will be subject to Prevailing Wage. General Contractor PRC# 2026009915This contract will be subject to Minority and Women Owned Business Goals, as defined in Section 2.11. Forthe purposes of this solicitation, overall goal of 30% for MWBE participation, 15% for Minority-OwnedBusiness Enterprises (“MBE”) participation and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (“WBE”)participation (based on the current availability of qualified MBEs and WBEs).
