Construction of Contract E: Line Abandonment and Meter Reconnection

The Dorsey Water Association is seeking bids for the construction of Contract E: Line Abandonment and Meter Reconnection. The proposed project includes all service tubing, bored service tubing encasement, service saddles, corp stops, and all appurtenances to facilitate approximately 28 meter reconnections. Additionally, the proposed project includes various wet taps, machine taps, gate valves, and appurtenances required to maintain water service during the abandonment of existing water lines. • The project is expected to be funded in whole or in part by anticipated funds from the ARPA Rural Water Associations Infrastructure Grant (RWAIG). • The project is subject to all applicable sections of the Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated, as they apply to local governments, in accordance with RWAIG Program Regulations. • The project requires bidders to deposit security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. • The project requires the contractor to furnish surety bonds subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.
