UTVS for Security Forces

The US Air Force is conducting a market research to identify potential sources capable of providing UTVs (Utility Task Vehicles) for Security Forces at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The requirement is for ten Polaris RANGER Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Edition Premium Stealth Gray UTVs, or equal, with law enforcement outfitting. The UTVs will be used for base security, patrol movement, emergency response mobility, and sustained operational capability across improved and unimproved terrain. The key features of the UTVs include rapid law enforcement deployment, patrol and perimeter mobility, emergency scene transport capability, and enhanced all-weather posturing. • The UTVs must be able to operate in various weather conditions. • The UTVs must be able to carry law enforcement personnel and equipment. • The UTVs must be able to operate on improved and unimproved terrain. • The UTVs must have a crew capacity of at least 4-6 personnel. • The UTVs must have a top speed of at least 60 mph.
