Flooring Materials and Installation

The County of Shasta is seeking a contractor to provide flooring materials and installation services on an as-needed basis. The contractor will be required to possess all applicable licenses, certifications, and insurance, and to comply with local, state, and federal codes and regulations. The contractor will be responsible for site verification, field measurement, and inspection of areas designated for new flooring or repair work, and will provide an itemized estimate to the County within seven business days of the site verification visit. The contractor will also be required to provide repair work to existing flooring installations, and to remove all materials and debris from the premises at the end of each working day. • The contractor must have a current and active California Contractor’s License with the following classifications: B General Contractor, C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering Contractor, and C-54 Ceramic and Mosaic Tile Contractor. • The contractor must provide evidence of registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. • The contractor must provide a minimum 12-month warranty on all equipment, materials, supplies, and labor. • The contractor must have comprehensive general liability insurance with limits of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $4,000,000 aggregate. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
