Getinge Maintenance Service

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking information from potential contractors to provide full-risk maintenance services for Getinge equipment at the US Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy. The services include preventive and corrective maintenance, labor, parts, travel, shipping, and loaner equipment. The contractor must ensure that all work is performed exclusively by fully qualified field engineers and technicians who have completed OEM or comparable third-party service training. The period of performance for this requirement includes a base period of 12 months, with four option periods, for a total of 60 months. • The contractor shall provide preventive and corrective maintenance services on Getinge equipment, including sterilizing units, washers, and ventilators. • The contractor shall conduct two scheduled PM visits annually per machine, performing all necessary inspections, calibrations, and part replacements in accordance with OEM standards. • The contractor shall restore inoperable equipment promptly by providing a 2-hour telephone response time, 24-hour local technical support, on-site arrival within 1-2 business days, and next-business-day loaner equipment if needed. • The contractor shall issue comprehensive Field Service Reports detailing the work performed, maintenance actions, and technician identification to the BIOMED department and Government Points of Contact after every intervention.
