Description
The Town of Westport, Massachusetts is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified Massachusetts-licensed engineering firms to provide A/E professional services for a drinking water main extension project. The primary scope includes the Briggs Road Fire Station Link, consisting of approximately 1,700 LF of 12-inch water main, and may include an add alternate for the Oakland Avenue Neighborhood Loop. The project will be conducted using Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS), and compensation will be negotiated with the selected firm.
• The project includes bidding assistance and construction administration/engineering services during construction.
• The estimated construction cost for the primary scope is $1.2M.
• The Town may include additional phases in the future, subject to applicable requirements.
• The SOQs are due on May 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM (ET), and questions are due on April 29, 2026, at 4:00 PM (ET).
