Mat Sinking Unit Washer-Extractors

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District, MVK Revetment Branch has a requirement for eleven new industrial-type washer-extractors to replace existing equipment. The commercial washing machines will be delivered to the USACE Mat Sinking Unit Quarter boats. The requirement includes nine 40-pound front-load washer-extractors and two 60-pound front-load washer-extractors. The machines must meet specific requirements, including compatibility with detergent and bleach dispensers, mechanical control panels, and standard manufacturer's warranty. • The washer-extractors must be front-loading machines with a minimum capacity of 40 pounds for the nine required machines and 60 pounds for the two required machines. • The machines must have a width of 32 inches maximum and a depth of 43 inches maximum for the 40-pound machines, and a width of 35 inches maximum and a depth of 45 inches maximum for the 60-pound machines. • The machines must have hard mounts, with a 6-inch steel base for the 40-pound machines and a 4-inch steel base for the 60-pound machines. • The machines must be compatible with detergent and bleach dispensers and allow for manual addition of detergent and bleach. • The machines must have mechanical control panels, with at least four wash temperatures, and a front door that locks in place when closed. • The machines must be made in the USA and have a standard manufacturer's warranty in effect starting at the date of delivery.
