Description
The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is seeking bids for the provision of inmate personal property items, including clothing and footwear, for the Louisiana Department of Corrections. The contract will be for an initial period of approximately 12 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be required to deliver the items on a called-for basis, with a delivery timeframe of 7-10 days after receipt of order. The contractor must be able to obtain and supply the items at their bid price for the entire contract period.
* The contract includes various items such as sport performance t-shirts, Reebok tennis shoes, Reebok men's shower shoes, sweatpants, and thermal bottoms.
* The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to civil rights, disabilities, and environmental protection.
* The contractor must also certify that they do not discriminate against firearm entities or firearm trade associations.
* The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
