The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground is seeking a complete 105‑120 mm Video Bore Inspection System, including a portable dual‑channel data acquisition unit, rugged controller, laser‑viewer inspection module, and associated accessories, as well as a self‑propelled sensor delivery unit (SDU) capable of moving 105‑120 mm sensors up to 8 m. The system must meet MIL‑STD‑810H, MIL‑STD‑461G, IP‑66/54, and other durability standards, and must integrate with existing YPG‑owned bore‑sensor equipment. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses (SBA) and includes full technical specifications for hardware, environmental performance, and functional capabilities.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $1,000,000

The solicitation involves a high‑tech video bore inspection system plus a self‑propelled sensor delivery unit, both of which are specialized defense equipment. Similar Army procurements for comparable systems typically range from a few hundred thousand dollars up to around one million dollars, depending on configuration, accessories, and support services. Therefore, a reasonable estimate for the contract value is roughly $200,000 to $1,000,000. Factors influencing the range include the exact number of kits required, optional accessories, integration services, and any extended warranty or maintenance agreements.
