Description
The Western Virginia Water Authority is seeking a qualified contractor to construct new water‑distribution infrastructure in Roanoke County. The work includes installing approximately 2,595 linear feet of 8‑inch ductile‑iron water main and 300 linear feet of 6‑inch water main, connecting to existing mains, installing valve vaults, fire hydrants, air‑release assemblies, performing rock excavation, pavement restoration, and completing as‑built documentation. The contract will be awarded on a unit‑price basis, with a 120‑day substantial‑completion schedule and a 150‑day final‑completion schedule.
