RFP 25-011 Debris Removal Services

The City of Thomson is seeking a contractor to provide debris removal services on an on-call basis under an annual contract. The contractor will be responsible for removing, collecting, and disposing of debris following a disaster. The contract will be for an initial term of 12 months with four optional 12-month renewal terms. The contractor must have the physical capacity to manage a major workforce with multiple subcontractors and associated equipment, as well as the financial capacity to pay for expenses associated with a major recovery operation. • The contractor will provide all materials and services necessary for the performance of the contract. • The contractor will be responsible for the performance of all requirements of the scope of services. • The contractor will act as directed by the City and provide professional technical services. • The contractor will ensure segregation of debris between vegetative, demolition, construction, recyclable, white goods, and hazard waste debris. • The contractor will process debris in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, standards, and regulations. • The contractor will provide the City with data and documentation necessary to verify and maintain records for FEMA reimbursement.
