Description
The Town of Forest Heights is seeking qualified contractors to perform comprehensive sidewalk and asphalt street repair and restoration across multiple streets in the municipality. The scope includes milling, subgrade preparation, base and surface asphalt installation, traffic control, and a one‑year warranty on workmanship. Contractors must provide all labor, equipment, materials, insurance, and comply with MDOT SHA specifications. Proposals are due electronically by September 23, 2026.
• Project locations: multiple streets (e.g., Onondaga Dr, Quade & Spokane, Delaware Dr, etc.) in Forest Heights, MD.
• Required services: mill & patch, subgrade prep, 3‑in. base course, 1.5‑in. surface course, tack coat, traffic control, debris removal.
• Contract type: firm‑fixed‑price, no change orders permitted.
• Mandatory deliverables: insurance certificates, one‑year warranty, compliance with ASTM/D698, AASHTO T209, MDOT SHA specs.
• Evaluation criteria: experience, technical approach, schedule, past performance, responsiveness.
