Burlington Beer Company Wastewater Pretreatment

The Burlington Beer Company (BBCO) is seeking qualified contractors to design‑build and install a new membrane‑bioreactor (MBR) wastewater pretreatment system at its brewery in Williston, VT. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment (except the owner‑furnished MBR unit) necessary to construct a concrete sump pit, install a FM‑rated 30 GPM pump, lay underground PVC piping with ice‑protection, provide a 40 kW generator and automatic transfer switch, install hazardous‑area electrical wiring, and complete all associated civil, mechanical, and instrumentation work. The project must start around 23 Feb 2026 and be substantially complete by 30 Jun 2026. • Install a precast concrete sump, pump, heat‑trace, and underground PVC pipe network. • Provide generator, transfer switch, and Class 1‑Div 1 electrical installations per NEC 2023 and Vermont codes. • Coordinate installation of owner‑supplied MBR equipment, instrumentation (Rosemount transmitters), and related mechanical systems, while complying with state prevailing‑wage requirements.
