Description
The U.S. Embassy in Praia, Cabo Verde, is seeking a contractor to provide local inter-island ticketing services for official government travel. The contractor will be responsible for providing travel reservations, ticketing, and related travel management services. The contract will be for a one-year period, with four one-year options to renew. The contractor must comply with mandatory government programs for air and ferry travel and provide the lowest available fare that complies with agency mission requirements and the Mission Travel Policy.
• The contractor must provide information and advice on conditions at various foreign destinations.
• The contractor must develop, print, and deliver pamphlets listing procedures for traveler use of the services under this contract.
• The contractor must provide management information reports, including quarterly problems and solutions reports, quarterly sales activity reports, and monthly transaction fee reports.
• The contractor must provide 24-hour emergency service and be able to accept major credit cards for payment of travel services.
• The contractor must comply with all local labor laws, including payment of staff overtime when applicable.
