Taxicab Concession Services

The Sanford Airport Authority is seeking a qualified firm to operate an exclusive taxicab concession at Orlando Sanford International Airport for the 2027 calendar year. The contractor will provide all personnel, vehicles, insurance, and operational procedures required to deliver safe, reliable taxi service to airport passengers, meeting the standards set out in the sample contract. The award includes a monthly privilege fee and a per‑trip fee, with the contract term running from January 1 2027 to December 31 2027, and optional two‑year extensions. • Provide 24‑hour taxi service at the airport terminals and curbside locations • Meet service‑level standards defined in Article 5 of the contract • Pay a $1,200 monthly privilege fee to the Authority • Pay a $4.75 fee per completed trip (estimated 3,000 trips in 2026) • Maintain required insurance coverage (general liability, auto, workers’ comp, professional liability) • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations • Submit technical and price proposals via the OpenGov e‑procurement portal by November 4 2026
