Recap/Retread Tire Services

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking a contractor to provide recap/retread tire services for its fleet of vehicles, including school buses and other trucks. The contractor will be responsible for providing pick-up and delivery services, performing recaps/repairs of tires, and providing warranties. The contract will be for a period of one year, with four optional one-year renewals. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to school districts or other government entities. • The contractor must have a computer management system for casing accountability and management reporting. • The contractor must provide storage for a minimum of 100 finished retreads. • The contractor must label and separate casings and finished recap tires for school buses from those for other vehicles. • The contractor must provide a warranty for the retreaded tires, with a minimum expressed product warranty.
