Description
The NOAA NESDIS Satellite Operations Control Center (SOCC) requires a qualified, authorized Caterpillar Electric Power Generation (EPG) dealer to provide comprehensive yearly preventive maintenance and on‑demand repairs for four Cat® C32 1000 kW diesel generators located at Suitland, MD; Wallops, VA; and Fairbanks, AK. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price (FFP) base year with up to four one‑year options and a possible six‑month extension, totaling up to five years of service. Work includes alternating minor and major preventive maintenance cycles, use of OEM parts, 24/7 emergency response (≤4 hr), and compliance with NFPA 110, Caterpillar OMM, and NOAA security policies.
• Scope: Minor PM (inspection of cooling, lubrication, fuel, starting, exhaust, air intake, control panel, etc.) and Major PM (oil & filter changes, fuel polishing, waste disposal, etc.) for each of the four generators.
• Performance: 12‑month base period (9/25/2026‑9/24/2027) with four optional 12‑month extensions and a 6‑month extension option.
• Delivery: Services performed on‑site during normal business hours; emergency repairs available 24 hrs with a four‑hour response time.
• Requirements: All technicians must hold current Caterpillar factory certifications; only OEM parts and CAT® diagnostic software may be used; compliance with safety, security, and visitor policies.

• Evaluation: Lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) – technical compliance and certification documentation are mandatory.
