The City of Cerritos is seeking a qualified contractor to supply, install, and maintain a fleet of diesel and natural‑gas generators across multiple municipal sites. The scope includes coolant changes or flushes, fuel polishing, annual one‑hour load‑bank testing, and all work must be performed by personnel holding three specific California contractor licenses (including a C‑10 Electrical license) and EGSA certification. Access to each generator is truck‑friendly within 50 feet, and no generators are located on rooftops or in hard‑to‑reach basements. The contract will cover both low‑voltage (≤ 480 V) and higher‑voltage units, with fuel‑tank capacities ranging from 100 gal to nearly 2,000 gal at various locations. • Provide full‑service installation, preventive maintenance, and testing for a mixed‑voltage generator fleet. • Perform coolant changes/flushes and fuel polishing on all units, adhering to manufacturer recommendations. • Must employ technicians with all three required California licenses and mandatory EGSA certification. • Service trucks must be able to approach within 50 ft of each unit; site conditions are straightforward (no rooftop or basement constraints).
