Description
The City of Covington is seeking bids for the construction of the Flat Shoals Road Sidewalk Project. The project includes the construction of new 4-inch concrete sidewalks, installation of detectable warning panels at pedestrian crossings, and replacement of concrete driveways to ensure ADA compliance. The project also includes supporting roadway work such as new curb and gutter, a 10-inch graded aggregate base, and recycled asphalt pavement. The contractor will be required to coordinate all work with the City of Covington and other utility owners who have facilities within the project area.
• The project will be managed by GWES, located at 3130 Main Street, Mansfield, GA 30055.
• The contractor will be required to obtain all necessary Federal, State, and local permits.
• The contractor will be required to supply E-Verify documentation with the bid.
• The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check in the amount of 10% of the base bid.
