Hillside Water Tank Retrofit Project

The Ontario County is seeking bids for the Hillside Water Tank Retrofit Project, which involves the replacement of steel bracing on a 5-legged water tank to increase structural capacity to support emergency communications equipment. The project includes the removal and replacement of diagonal steel bracing rods, painting, and inspections. The contractor will be required to submit a detailed project schedule and make good-faith efforts to achieve Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise participation goals. • The project is subject to prevailing wage laws and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of workers' compensation insurance and disability benefits coverage. • The contractor will be required to register with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i. • The project is expected to be completed as expeditiously as practicable following notice to proceed. • The contractor will be required to maintain the required insurances and provide additional insured status to Ontario County. • The contractor will be required to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the project.
