Springer Nature Journal Content Subscription Services

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking a sole source provider for subscription services to electronically access Springer Nature journal content, Nature journal titles, and Scientific American. The provider must also offer a Transformative Agreement for Springer journals with article processing charge (APC) support for NIST researchers. The subscription services should include access to all Springer Nature e-Journals, a search interface, 24/7 electronic access, and externally hosted database with IP authentication. The provider should also offer APC support and management for NIST researchers publishing open access articles in Springer e-Journals. Some key points to consider: • The provider must be able to supply a vendor-supplied web interface for access to the journal content. • The provider must be able to provide 24/7 electronic access from NIST researchers’ desktops or anywhere within the NIST domain. • The provider must be able to offer APC support for NIST researchers publishing open access articles in Springer e-Journals. • The provider must be able to provide APC management for the Library to approve or deny APC support based on agency-specific criteria.
