RFP - To Procure Professional Services for the Taft Highway Corridor Specific Plan

The City of Bakersfield is seeking a qualified professional or consulting team to produce a comprehensive Specific Plan for the 1,259‑acre Taft Highway Corridor. The consultant will deliver a full suite of planning, design, community‑engagement, regulatory, and CEQA documentation services, culminating in a deliverable package that guides land‑use, zoning, transportation, streetscape, and implementation actions for the corridor. • Develop project management, existing conditions, and community engagement programs. • Produce land‑use, circulation, design‑guidelines, and development‑standards reports with maps, graphics, and regulatory recommendations. • Coordinate with Caltrans, city staff, and other agencies; provide CEQA compliance documentation and an implementation/administration plan.
