Replace Lampton Cliffs Coastal Accessway Design Services

The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking a qualified consultant to provide professional design services for the repair and restoration of Lampton Cliffs Park and coastal access stairway. The project includes replacing the beach access stairway and landing, pathway railings, signs, bollards, wood curbing, wood plank bridge, wood benches, repairing the gravel walkway, designing erosion control measures for existing culverts, and addressing ADA deficiencies at Lampton Cliffs Park. The selected consultant will be expected to execute a contract with the County and provide design and construction documents for the project. • The project is located at Lampton Cliffs Park in Cambria, California. • The consultant will be required to provide insurance coverage in the amount of $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability (CGL) Insurance and $2,000,000 Professional Liability Insurance. • The consultant will be required to pay employees at least the prevailing rate wages for public works performed on the project. • The consultant will be required to submit certified payroll records to the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) at least monthly for the work. • The project is subject to federal requirements, including the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Fair Employment and Housing Act. • The consultant will be required to comply with all applicable state and federal standards, rules, and regulations.
