Santa Monica‑Malibu Unified School District is seeking a California‑licensed geotechnical engineering firm to act as the Geotechnical Engineer of Record (GEOR) during construction of the Franklin Elementary School Early Education Classroom building and associated site improvements. The contractor will provide intermittent on‑site inspections, DSA‑coordinated testing, special inspections, change‑management reviews, and a final compliance report throughout a roughly two‑year construction period. Experience on K‑12 school projects and ability to work under the district’s Project Labor Agreement are mandatory. Compensation will be negotiated and capped in the final contract, with a cost proposal required.
