The Victoria Independent School District is seeking bids for chemicals, supplies, and paper products. The contract period is from May 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026. The district uses an online bidding system, and electronic submissions are preferred. The contract includes terms and conditions, such as payment terms, delivery requirements, and warranties. The district reserves the right to reject all offers and to accept or reject any or all offers by item or in entirety. • The contract includes a non-appropriation of funds clause, which allows the district to rescind the contract at the end of each fiscal year if funds are not available. • The district encourages offers from any company or individual, regardless of race, color, national origin, age, religion, sex, marital or veteran status, or disability. • The district gives preference to products made of recycled materials and to products produced, processed, or grown in Texas or the United States. • The contract includes a provision for material safety data sheets (MSDS) to accompany any items that require such information. • The district requires the seller to maintain current licenses, permits, fees, business certificates, and similar authorizations required by the City of Victoria, the County of Victoria, and the State of Texas. • The contract includes a provision for insurance, which requires the seller to maintain any insurance policies required by the district. • The district is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any person on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, disability, or age.
