Description
The County of Cumberland is soliciting bids for ground mosquito control services. The contractor will be responsible for dispensing chemicals in residential and rural areas to abate mosquitoes. The services will include pre-spraying requirements such as trapping and landing counts, and the contractor must provide printed reports within 24 hours of application. The contractor will also be responsible for determining the spray schedule and maintaining the spray within the boundary of the treatment area.
• The contract will have an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms.
• The contractor must provide all equipment, services, and chemicals necessary for the contract.
• The contractor must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental concerns.
• The contractor must provide documentation of the chemical, application method, and concentration used.
• The contractor must conduct trapping or landing counts after the spraying is complete to show that the populations have been controlled.
