Two (2) Year Contract for The Supply of Machine Shop Services for The

The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for a two-year contract to provide machine shop services for the Department of Public Works, Drainage Pump Stations, and all Jefferson Parish agencies. The contract will be for an as-needed basis, and the contractor will be required to provide labor, supervision, and machine tool time to perform metal cutting or machine operations on parts, components, and/or rough stock furnished by others. The contractor must be capable of high-quality precision machine work in all categories of work and must have the necessary accessories, measurement devices, and skilled workmen. • The contract will include various categories of work, such as large lathe work, medium lathe work, small lathe work, and others. • The contractor will be paid only for work actually performed, and the unit price bid must be held firm for the duration of the contract. • The contractor must be available 24/7 and respond to calls within 1 hour. • The contractor must comply with all provisions of Louisiana Law and the Jefferson Parish Code of Ordinances. • The contractor must provide proof of cyber security training and comply with the anti-discrimination provisions.
