Description
Luzerne County is seeking bids for Anti-Skid Materials. The contract term is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, with a possible one-year extension at the county's discretion. The materials must meet the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Road Construction Standards. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via the PennBid portal or by mail to the Luzerne County Purchasing Department. The bid price shall include delivery to the Road & Bridge Department District Maintenance Garage(s) located in Dallas, Hunlock Creek, Mountain Top, and Drums.
• The bid must include all required documents, including a certificate of insurance and a non-collusion affidavit.
• The bidder must be a recognized dealer in the materials/services specified and qualified to advise in its application or use.
• The county reserves the right to award the bid to a responder other than the lowest responder if deemed to be in the best interest of the county.
• The successful responder must permit the county to make payment by credit or debit card without penalty or surcharge.
