Description
The State of Alabama, through the Alabama Department of Public Health, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for the Tallapoosa County Health Department facilities in Alex City. The contract requires daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, strict security and employee documentation, a dedicated on‑site supervisor, and rapid correction of any cleaning deficiencies (1‑2 hours). Subcontracting is prohibited, and a mandatory site visit must be completed prior to work commencement.
• Daily cleaning of waiting areas, offices, break rooms, and restrooms with high‑coefficient disinfectants and color‑coded microfiber cloths.
• Weekly and monthly deep‑cleaning tasks including dusting vertical surfaces, high‑dusting up to 12 ft, and detailed fixture cleaning.
• Administrative requirements: continuous employee list, daily sign‑in/out sheets, cleaning checklists, key control, and a supervisor present at each location.
• Strict performance clause: deficiencies must be corrected within 1‑2 hours or the State may withhold payment and seek an alternative vendor.
