DV Batterer Assessment and Group Based Services

The State of Michigan is seeking proposals for DV Batterer Assessment and Group Based Services. The successful bidder will provide services to support the implementation of a Batterer Intervention Services program in Macomb County. The program aims to provide assessment and treatment services to individuals who have been convicted of domestic violence. The bidder must demonstrate experience in providing similar services and must meet the requirements outlined in the RFP. Some key aspects of the proposal include: * Providing a detailed plan for delivering services to the target population * Describing the bidder's plan for addressing and serving the target population in respect to transportation needs, eligible client characteristics, disabilities, language barriers, and cultural barriers * Providing a timeline for contacts with the referral source and clients * Describing the client assessment process and how the treatment/service plan will be developed and implemented * Identifying the anticipated number of clients to be served in a 12-month period and the estimated number of units that will be provided in a 12-month period * Describing the plan for notifying MDHHS and/or prospective clients of service availability * Describing how collaboration will be developed and maintained with relevant organizations and resources within the local community * Providing a plan for use of Specific Assistance, including the annual number of clients receiving specific assistance, the annual amount of specific assistance each client will receive, and the approval process for Specific Assistance.
