Description
The City of Sandersville, Georgia is seeking bids for the construction of a water line extension and a raw sewage pump station site. The work includes furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of a 100 LF Jack & Bore installation of 8-inch water line, relocation of one 8-inch water meter, and installation of one 8-inch water meter in a new vault. The project also involves the construction of a precast wetwell, submersible pumps, road grading, rocking, fencing, water service, and approximately 5,500 L.F. of 6-inch sewer force main and gravity sewer and connection manhole. The time of completion for Division One is 60 calendar days, and for Division Two is 180 calendar days.
• The bidder must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and employ a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder.
• The bidder must provide a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the City of Sandersville, Georgia, in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work.
• The bidder must provide Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Sandersville, Georgia.
• The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
