Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, intends to negotiate a sole source firm-fixed price contract with Sun Nuclear Corporation for the procurement of the Sun Nuclear Software License Subscription Upgrade. The upgrade is required for the Pharmacy Benefit Management Department located at Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital. The contract will be for the procurement of the SunCheck Software License Subscription Upgrade, which is a proprietary quality assurance tool used in Radiation Oncology. The justification for the sole source award is that SunNuclear holds exclusive rights to the SunCheck software, and no other vendor can provide the license upgrade or service contract. The current software at Hines VA is nine versions outdated and can only be upgraded through SunNuclear under an annual service agreement.
