The opportunity is for a Federal Government Affairs Consultant to support the Russ College of Engineering at Ohio University. The consultant will be responsible for providing research and consulting services to help the college secure federal funding for its research initiatives. The scope of work includes identifying potential funding opportunities, developing proposals, and building relationships with federal agencies. • The consultant will work closely with the college's faculty and staff to identify research areas that align with federal funding priorities. • The consultant will develop and submit proposals to federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, and the National Institutes of Health. • The consultant will build relationships with federal agency program managers and other stakeholders to increase the college's visibility and credibility. • The consultant will provide guidance and support to faculty and staff on federal funding opportunities and proposal development.
