Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified vendors to furnish rest area maintenance services, consumable supplies, and grounds and minor building maintenance and cleaning for the Homewood Rest Area. The contract period is from May 1, 2026, to April 30, 2031. The vendor will be responsible for providing various services, including janitorial maintenance, grounds maintenance, and minor building repairs. The vendor must also provide consumable supplies, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning products.
• The vendor must have experience in providing similar services.
• The vendor must have the necessary equipment and personnel to perform the required services.
• The vendor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The vendor must provide a certificate of insurance confirming the required insurance coverage.
• The vendor must provide at least two in-state references from customers they are currently providing janitorial services to.
