Description
The Arizona Department of Economic Security (ADES) is seeking information to verify a Sole Source for Legal Assistance in Pima County. The purpose of the contract is to provide civil legal assistance to low-income residents of Pima County. The services include assistance with civil legal issues, consultation and representation in civil matters, and protection of the rights of individuals and families. The contractor shall provide all services in a culturally relevant and linguistically appropriate manner, communicate with ADES electronically, and utilize backup/recovery procedures and computer systems to ensure no data is lost.
• The contractor shall provide direct one-on-one legal assistance and legal representation to clients for civil legal issues, including domestic violence situations, landlord-tenant problems, and obtaining appropriate legal identification for government services.
• The contractor shall collect and report required aggregate client data and participate in ADES evaluation studies when required.
• The contractor shall develop partnerships and network with related programs to provide more immediate resolution to issues and expand resources.
• The contractor shall provide services consistent with the terms and restrictions of the Legal Services Corporation.
• The contractor shall provide services by or under the direction of a licensed attorney in compliance with Arizona Supreme Court Rules of Admission.
