Description
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking bids for the construction of airport improvements at Pineland Municipal Airport. The project involves pavement rehabilitation and has an estimated cost of $2,298,740. Bidders are required to submit their bids by April 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM. A pre-bid conference will be held on April 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Pineland City Hall.
• The project requires bidders to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the full amount of the contract price.
• The successful bidder will be required to electronically submit contract documents, pay request forms, change order requests, certified payroll, DBE/HUB reports, and insurance certificates.
• Bidders are encouraged to maximize HUB utilization equal to the statewide HUB goals for the type of work being contracted.
• The Owner/Agent reserves the right to reject any bid and the right to waive technicalities if such waiver is in the best interest of the Owner/Agent and conforms to State and local laws and ordinances pertaining to the letting of construction contracts.
