Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a qualified contractor to plug and remediate an orphan oil‑gas well (Permit #97124) in Magoffin County under the Kentucky Abandoned Storage Tank and Orphan Well (KASTOW) Program. The contract will be a firm‑fixed‑price, 30‑day effort to mobilize equipment, test for gas and TENORM, drill out obstructions, cement the wellbore to surface, and restore the site and access road. Vendors must submit a technical proposal, cost proposal, required affidavits, tax registration, and certifications through the state e‑procurement portal. Evaluation will be based on experience, equipment, work plan completeness, past performance, and price. The award will be made by mid‑November 2026 with work to be completed within 30 calendar days.
