Description
The Town of Westerly/Westerly Public Schools is seeking bids for the Westerly Middle School Roof Replacement project. The project involves recovering the existing EPDM roofing with a new cover board and a SBS modified built-up roof system, removal of existing damaged roof insulation, raising select existing roof-mounted HVAC equipment, and other related work. The project must be completed within 60 days of substantial completion, with a final completion date of August 28, 2026. Bidders must submit a lump sum proposal, including all materials and equipment, and must comply with prevailing wage rates and other regulations.
• The project is tax-exempt for Rhode Island sales tax and federal excise taxes.
