Delphi

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) is hosting a Proposers' Day in support of the Delphi program, which aims to develop self-monitoring ecosystems to empower all Americans to fully understand their own bodies with continuous monitoring of deep biological information. The program will be accomplished over 3 sequential program phases, and performers will conduct component and process development, integrate chiplets, and validate functionality in vivo. The program has four technical areas: "Dry" Chiplets unique to biosensing, "Wet" Biosensing Chiplets, Biocompatible Encapsulation, and Human Factors Testing or Clinical Trial. Some key points to consider: • The Delphi program will develop modular wearable or ingestible sensors for monitoring a broad range of biological markers. • The program will leverage chiplets, a new system architecture in microelectronics, to decrease cost, reduce size, weight, and power, and enable all developers to access cutting-edge capabilities. • The benefits of the program include early detection to prevent disease progression, continuous monitoring for safe home recovery, and precision, closed-loop monitoring of therapies for superior outcomes. • The Proposers' Day will be held virtually and in-person on March 27, 2026, and will include presentations, question and answer sessions, and poster sessions.
