Description
The Austin Community College District (ACC) is seeking a qualified firm to provide district-wide solid waste disposal services. The selected firm will be responsible for collecting, removing, and transporting solid waste from ACC campuses and satellite locations. The firm must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the services. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the option to renew for an additional two years. The firm must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including the City of Austin's Universal Recycling Ordinance.
• The firm must provide educational services, such as an annual facility site visit, to ACC students.
• The firm must provide assistance and flexibility to change dumpster size or haul frequency periodically.
• The firm must ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
• The firm must provide monthly reports detailing solid waste landfill disposal volumes.
