Information Technology (IT) Asset Disposal Services

The Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD) in Kansas is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) services for its 56 district locations. The contract will run for one year beginning January 1 2027, with up to four optional one‑year renewals. Services include collection, secure data sanitization (NIST 800‑88), inventory tracking, resale/remarketing of eligible assets, recycling of non‑resalable items, provision of collection tubs, compliance with federal, state and local e‑waste regulations, and delivery of R2v3 certification reports. The District currently pays a per‑asset fee deducted from resale proceeds and expects the same fee structure. Proposals must be submitted electronically via Public Purchase (or as a sealed hard‑copy) by 11:00 a.m. on November 12 2026. Evaluation criteria cover experience, service approach, ability to maximize resale value, reporting/documentation, and cost.
