Description
The City of Ann Arbor seeks a qualified contractor to fully demolish the existing West Park Bandshell, manage associated hazardous‑material abatement, perform site grading and paving, install erosion‑control measures, and execute an extensive landscape restoration.
• Complete selective demolition of the bandshell shelter, retaining wall, and stamped‑concrete path, including disposal of debris.
• Licensed asbestos (and lead‑paint) abatement, containment, removal, and disposal per NESHAP and Michigan regulations.
• Earthwork and grading to achieve design elevations, followed by new hot‑mix asphalt (HMA) base and wearing courses.
• Installation of silt fences, inlet filters, mud mats, and tree‑protection fencing for erosion and sediment control.
• Landscape restoration: placement of organic topsoil, seeding of native mixes, and planting of specified trees, shrubs, perennials, and grasses.
