RFQP Centrifuge Polymer for Wastewater Division

The City of Bakersfield Water Department is seeking a qualified supplier to provide bulk centrifuge polymer on an on‑call basis for its Wastewater Treatment Plant 3. Suppliers must first pre‑qualify their polymer through on‑site jar‑testing and a two‑day centrifuge trial, demonstrating at least 22 % cake solids and 95 % capture efficiency. Once pre‑qualified, the contractor will deliver approximately 3,500 gal per month, off‑load and pump the product into the plant’s storage tank, and provide monthly technical service and a Certificate of Analysis. The contract is a two‑year base term, renewable up to three additional one‑year extensions at the City’s option, with a fixed price subject to limited CPI adjustments.
