Description
The State of Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive trash collection services for the South Central Correctional Center (SCCC) for a one‑year period (Dec 21 2026 – Dec 21 2027). The contractor must supply and maintain trash containers, perform scheduled collections every six days, respond to unscheduled collections within 24 hours, and handle all disposal in compliance with state and federal regulations. Additional obligations include background checks for all personnel, provision of a 15‑foot clean perimeter, deodorizing/disinfecting containers after each pickup, and detailed reporting of waste processing facilities. The contract value is expected to be in the range of $80‑$120 k based on historical spend. Vendors must be registered in MissouriBUYS, submit a sealed electronic proposal by 2 PM CT on 27 Oct 2026, and may optionally tour the facility (non‑mandatory).
