Stringout Construction (Rehabilitation) at Ensley Engineer Yard (EEY).

The project involves the rehabilitation of the Stringout Construction at Ensley Engineer Yard (EEY). The work includes the removal of existing structures, excavation, dredging, and disposal of materials, as well as the installation of new steel floats, a landing barge, and utilities. The project is divided into a base project and six options, and the base project work shall be completed sequentially from Phase 1 to Phase 2. The acquisition will be conducted as an unrestricted procurement with a HUBZone Price Evaluation Preference, using a Best Value Tradeoff source selection process. • Removal of existing steel ramp and abutment • Demolition and removal of existing railroad trestle • Excavation, dredging, and disposal of materials • Installation of steel floats, landing barge, and utilities • Construction of a new steel connector bridge and electrical substation • All earthwork activities for connector bridge and incidental related work
