Install 4 Corners Hydraulics at Dashields Locks and Dam

The project involves the installation of a new hydraulic system at the Dashields Locks and Dam in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The work includes demolition and removal of the existing hydraulic system, installation of new hydraulic power units, electrical demolition work, concrete demolition work, and testing and commissioning of the new equipment. The project requires a floating work plant and work boat(s) for construction and must be completed within 730 days after written Notice to Proceed. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) to submit an offer. Some key aspects of the project include: • Demolition and removal of the existing hydraulic system • Installation of new hydraulic power units and supporting controls • Electrical demolition work, including removal of specified buckets, cabinet doors, junction boxes, levers, buttons, indicators, limit switches, wiring, and hardware • Concrete demolition work for placement of new buildings and routing of new electrical cable and mechanical pipe • Testing and commissioning of the new equipment • Completion of a geotechnical and civil site analysis to confirm the structural integrity of all foundations for all new project components
