Purchase of a Sewer Bypass Pump

The purpose of this request for quote is to solicit written quotations for the purchase of a trailer-mounted sewer bypass pump for the Effingham County Water and Sewer Department. The pump should have a 4-inch suction and discharge, be diesel engine driven, and have a minimum 75-gallon fuel tank with low fuel alarm and shutdown. It should also have automatic self-priming dry running ability, non-clog impeller, float assembly, and solids handling capability up to 3 inches. The pump should be trailer mounted, DOT approved, with electric brakes and wiring harness, and have a sound attenuated enclosure and remote monitoring capabilities. • The pump should have a max flow of at least 1200 GPM. • The trailer should be DOT approved with electric brakes and wiring harness. • The pump should have a sound attenuated enclosure and remote monitoring capabilities. • The vendor should provide 6 - 4 inch x 10 foot composite hoses to be quick connect. • The vendor should provide 1 - 4 inch strainer Bauer. • The vendor should provide 1 - 90 degree elbow.
