Description
The U.S. Army is seeking information from interested businesses for Base Operations Support services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The contract will provide non-personal services for the Directorate of Public Works, including maintenance and repair of facilities, roads, and grounds. The contractor will be responsible for performing work in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and meeting the requirements outlined in the contract. Some key aspects of the job include:
* Providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform the work
* Maintaining the free flow of traffic during surfaced area maintenance
* Ensuring access to all fire detection and suppression systems in case of emergencies
* Performing dust suppression as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
* Locating and staking out underground utility pipes/cables prior to digging operations
* Obtaining all licenses and permits required to perform the work
* Coordinating with the Government to ensure a smooth transition of services
* Providing a Project Manager who is responsible for the performance of the work
* Maintaining a professional and safe working environment
The contractor will be required to provide a capability statement package, which should include information on the company's experience, qualifications, and approach to performing the work.
