25-73 Financial Advisory Services for a One (1) Year Period

The City of Atlantic City is seeking a financial advisor to provide advice and assistance for a one-year period. The advisor will work with the City to structure new money/refunding scenarios, review and analyze the City's financial conditions, and provide recommendations to meet the City's financial goals. The advisor will also assist with State legislative and regulatory initiatives and implement new legislation. The City is looking for a firm with experience in providing financial advisory services to non-profit or governmental entities, particularly those with distressed credit. The firm should have a thorough understanding of the City's statute, rules, and regulations, as well as experience with municipal-related transactions. Key responsibilities of the advisor include: • Gaining a working understanding of the City's financial picture • Working with the City's Bond Counsel • Providing advice on cost-effective financing programs and strategies • Attending document and working group meetings • Advising on innovative financing opportunities • Assisting in structuring or restructuring a maturity schedule • Coordinating with the Verification Agent • Collecting and maintaining costs-of-issuance information • Serving as Disseminating Agent for the City The City is seeking a firm that can provide these services in a timely and professional manner, with a strong understanding of the City's financial goals and objectives.
